Gomati District Polytechnic, stationed at the temple city Udaipur, owes its nomenclature from the river Gomati. This Institute, presently offering Diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science & Technology and inching forward to infrastructural and academic excellence. All the 3(three) courses with intake capacity 60(sixty) in each discipline are approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. This Institute is Under the Administrative control of Education (Higher) Department, Government of Tripura and affiliated to Tripura University (A central University). We are committed to produce quality Engineers ready to take on the emerging global village with innovation in thinking and creativeness. In the years to come, this Polytechnic Institute should emerge as a vibrant Institute along with an identity in Engineering expertise. The rising demand of students applying for entry to Gomati District Polytechnic as well as to meet the future requirement, the State Government has come up with a massive project proposal for infrastructure development. Already we have a very rich strength of experienced faculties and we are proud of our students for setting up an excellent track record and academic achievements setting a praise-worthy environment conducive to what a good Institution requires for its real objective to cater.
